Measuring range with thermocouples:
K: -200°C... +1370°C (CHROMEL - ALUMEL)
J: -100°C... + 750°C (IRON - COSTANTAN)
T: -200°C... + 350°C (COPPER - COSTANTAN)
E: -200°C... + 750°C (CHROMEL - COSTANTAN)
R:+200°C... +1480°C (PLATINUM - PLATINUM 13% RHODIUM)
S:+200°C... +1480°C (PLATINUM - PLATINUM 10% RHODIUM)
B:+200°C... +1800°C (PLATINUM 6% RHODIUM - PLATINUM 30% RHODIUM)

The HD 9016 has the following built-in functions:
- Automatic cut-out after 8 minutes: AUTO POWER OFF.
- Automatic change of scale: AUTORANGE.
- Relative measurements: REL.
- Stores and displays the maximum and minimum temperature value at each input: REC, DATA CALL.
- Calculates the difference between the two inputs: A-B.
- Acoustic signal (beep) after pressing a key.
- Low battery signal (beep) every 30 seconds.
