MEASUREMENT PRINCIPLE
The resistance of a platinum sensor (Pt100) varies when the temperature changes, according to a precise and highly reproducible law. (The international scale of temperature is based on platinum sensors for measuring range -182.97 ... +630.5°C). The value of this resistance is measured and lined through an electronic circuit included in the probe. This solution allows the individual calibration of each sensor in two points, to improve considerably the global precision.
PROBES
Different types of probes are available: for air, contact, immersion and penetration of the TP 872, TP 873, TP 874 series, or direct 4 wire probes without amplification or linearization.
APPLICATION
The high precision instrument replaces mercury thermometers. Suitable for laboratory measurements, maintenance and routine measurements.
